Good morning, graduates, faculty, staff, distinguished guests, and family and friends. It is an honor to be here today to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2016.

This is a special day for you all. You have worked hard to get to this point, and you have much to be proud of. You have earned your degrees, and you are now ready to go out and make your mark on the world.

I know that many of you are feeling a mix of emotions right now. You are excited about the future, but you may also be feeling a little bit scared. That's understandable. The world can be a challenging place, and there will be times when you will face setbacks. But I want you to remember that you are not alone. You have your family and friends to support you, and you have the education and skills that you need to succeed.

As you go out into the world, I urge you to pursue excellence in everything you do. Don't settle for mediocrity. Set high standards for yourself, and work hard to achieve them. Be the best that you can be, and never give up on your dreams.

In addition to pursuing excellence, I also urge you to set an example for others. Be a role model for your younger siblings, your friends, and your community. Show the world what it means to be a responsible and engaged citizen.

I know that you can make a difference in the world. You are the future leaders of our country and our world. You have the power to change the world for the better. So go out there and make us proud.
