About the Author
A.E. Stallings is the author of nine books of poetry, including Like, Ardor, which was a finalist for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Whiting Award, the Rome Prize, and the PEN/Voelcker Award. Stallings is a professor of English at the University of Houston.
