Terry Reilly was an American football player who played for the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL) from 1982 to 1991. Reilly was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 21, 1960. He attended Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, where he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track and field. Reilly was recruited to play football at Penn State University, where he was a four-year letterman and a two-time All-American. He was also a member of the Nittany Lions' 1982 national championship team.

Reilly was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 1982 NFL Draft. He quickly became a star for the Giants, and was a key member of the team's offense and special teams. Reilly was a dangerous receiver out of the backfield, and was also a talented return specialist. He was one of the most feared players in the NFL, and was known for his ability to score touchdowns on both offense and special teams.

Reilly was a member of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XXI in 1987. He played a key role in the Giants' victory, scoring a touchdown on a 97-yard kickoff return in the second quarter. Reilly's touchdown was the longest in Super Bowl history at the time, and helped the Giants to a 39-20 victory over the Denver Broncos.

Reilly continued to play for the Giants until 1991, when he retired from the NFL. He finished his career with 5,330 rushing yards, 3,054 receiving yards, and 87 touchdowns. He was also a three-time Pro Bowl selection and a one-time All-Pro selection.
