The Incredible Hulk is a popular superhero character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The character first appeared in the Marvel Comics title The Incredible Hulk #1 in May 1962. The Hulk is the alter ego of Bruce Banner, a brilliant scientist who is exposed to gamma radiation during an experiment. As a result of the radiation, Banner transforms into the Hulk whenever he gets angry or excited.

The Hulk has been adapted into several live-action television series and films. The first live-action Hulk series, starring Bill Bixby as Bruce Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk, aired from 1977 to 1982. In 1990, a new Hulk series, starring James Randall as Bruce Banner, premiered. This series ran for five seasons, ending in 1999.

The James Randall Hulk Series

The James Randall Hulk series was a darker and more violent adaptation of the character than the previous Bixby/Ferrigno series. Randall's portrayal of Bruce Banner was also more complex and nuanced than Bixby's. Randall's Banner was a brilliant scientist, but he was also a deeply troubled man who struggled to control his anger.

The series also featured a number of memorable supporting characters, including Jack McGee as Lou Grant, Edward Mulhare as David Banner, and Elizabeth Gracen as Betty Ross. The series was praised for its acting, writing, and special effects.

The Incredible Hulk: The Movies

In addition to the television series, the Hulk has also been featured in several live-action films. The first Hulk film, starring Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, was released in 2003. This was followed by The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, in 2008. In 2012, Mark Ruffalo took over the role of Bruce Banner in The Avengers. Ruffalo has since reprised the role in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015),Thor: Ragnarok (2017),Avengers: Infinity War (2018),and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
