The heart heals slowly, But it heals surely. One day at a time, One step at a time. The heart heals through love, Through laughter, Through tears, Through pain. The heart heals through forgiveness, Through acceptance, Through hope, Through resilience. The heart heals It heals in its own time.

In the poem "The Soul Transcends," she writes:

The soul transcends Death, Loss, Pain. The soul transcends The body, The mind, The ego. The soul transcends Time, Space, Matter. The soul transcends It transcends everything.

Sarah Jones is a poet, writer, and teacher. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside. Her work has been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies, and she has received several awards for her writing.
